PhytoMedx Euphorbia Cream®
Euphorbia plants ooze a thick, white, milky sap when injured. The active
substance from Euphorbia plants (ingenol mebutate) was isolated and patented by LEO Pharma. Their product, Picato Gel, is sold by prescription only. PhytoMedx has developed a method of harvesting Euphorbia sap and can now offer it as a natural
source of ingenol mebutate.
PhytoMedx Euphorbia Cream is made from all-natural Euphorbia sap containing Ingenol mebutate (the active ingredient in Picato Gel).
Phytomedx has developed a specially formulated and stabilized
preparation of all-natural euphorbia sap and packaged it as an
easy-to-use pharmaceutical-grade cream containing 1% Euphorbia sap. Euphorbia Cream can be used to treat non-
and pre-cancerous skin lesions like Actinic Keratosis (AK) lesions.
The United States FDA recently approved a new treatment (Picato® gel)
for Actinic Keratosis and Basal Cell carcinoma, that drug is derived
from a natural compound (ingenol mebutate) that is found in milkweed
sap. Unfortunately Picato® gel is expensive and is available by
prescription only. The Cancer Defeated Newsletter issue #12
recently wrote about this drug and gave a special mention to PhytoMedx
Milkweed Cream as a natural alternative to the costly drug.
